Nick Cannon Covers Up His Massive Mariah Carey Tattoo

Nick Cannon is on the road to recovery as the divorce from his estranged wife Mariah Carey continues. To show his love for the singer, Cannon tattooed Mariah's name on his back in massive text in 2008. But now that the marriage is hanging on by a thread, he decided it would be best to cover it up. Her name has now been replaced by a crucifixion tattoo with an bird-like image above it.

The fresh back art was first spotted at a birthday celebration for Nick Cannon at Playhouse Hollywood Nightclub last Thursday (Oct. 2), where he happened to be DJing. Amber Rose, Cannon's newest client, was in attendance.

While Nick Cannon has yet to open up about the new ink, he's been keeping himself busy with the release of his new children's Christmas book, hitting stores Oct. 28.
