Lil Twist Recruits Justin Bieber for Debut LP, Preps New Mixtape

Young Money young’n Lil Twist has some big moves on deck. The Lil Wayne protégé is currently gearing up for the release of his first album, Don’t Get It Twisted, but first he will be releasing his new mixtape The Takeover: Carte Blanche Edition tomorrow (October 29), at the stroke of midnight.

Fans of the Dallas, TX teen can download the disc, which includes the single “Wind It (Shut the Club Down),” for free on liltwistthetakeover.com.

Meanwhile, Twist has recruited some heavyweights for his official YM debut. So far labelmates Weezy, Drake and Nicki Minaj are all on board, as well as Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber. The album’s Bow Wow-assisted lead single, "Little Secret" is currently available on iTunes. No word yet on the album's release date.—Amber McKynzie
