J. Cole and Young Thug Are Going on KOD Tour Together
J. Cole is coming back heavy into the spotlight, and he's gearing up to hit the road for a brand new tour. The Dreamville head announced his KOD Tour this morning (May 8) to follow up to his critically acclaimed album, and he will be hitting up 34 different cities with Young Thug as the special guest.
The new tour kicks off on Aug. 9 in Miami, Fla. and hits up tons of major cities across North America including New Orleans, Dallas, Oakland, Las Vegas, Denver, Detroit, Hartford, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and plenty more. The tour, for now, is slated to wrap up on Oct. 10 in Boston, Mass., but of course, more dates may be added in the future.
Unfortunately, Thugger won't be present for every single date on the KOD Tour, as he is expected to not perform in Atlanta, Phoenix, Little Rock, New York and Washington, D.C. Regardless, fans will still get the full Cole experience at each date and location.
The news of Cole recruiting Thugger for the tour has gotten both praise and confusion from fans on social media, as the Fayetteville rapper's new album tackles criticism of mumble rap and drug use, which Young Thug's name has been attached to within his own music and brand.
Peep the full list of dates below and be sure to purchase your tickets here when they go on sale on Saturday, May 12 at 10 A.M. local time.
