E-40 has a long history of getting things "Slappin," and does just that on his new single with the help of Nef the Pharaoh and D.R.A.M.

Produced by Rick Rock, the track has every bit the bounce one might expect from the Bay Area slang master and will be featured on his upcoming albums The D-Boy Diary 1 & 2.

Linking up with two up-and-coming names in hip-hop, E-40 demonstrates his experience in the game and even alludes to the union of new and old school talents on the track, rapping, "It all depends on how you breed them and who they come up under / Your plug might be jealous cause you took his thunder / Let him know that you recognize him as a factor / One of the rules of power, never outshine the master."

D.R.A.M. takes over the hook duties, while Nef, who hails from the same hometown as E-40, Vallejo, reflects on his recent successes. "Currently on my second tour ever, this feel like heaven / They calling me the dude, no Devin, this for my seven," he raps, before deploying an E-40 worthy level of precise enunciation.

Listen to the track above as E-40, Nef the Pharaoh and D.R.A.M. blend their styles seamlessly. D.R.A.M. has released a string of new music following his October EP GAHDAMN! while Nef just released an EP of his own, Neffy Got Wings, early last week. As for E-40, his EP Poverty & Prosperity has been out since November.
