Here are the most buzzworthy stories of the week that was, September 2-8.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose finally ended all those rumored reports about them expecting a child Thursday night (September 6) on the red carpet for the MTV Video Music Awards. Amber made the pregnancy official by rubbing her belly, pulling the same gesture that Beyonce' did at the same Awards show last year. Congrats.

The star-studded likes of 50 Cent, Diddy, Lauryn Hill, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen, Missy Elliott, Fat Joe and more all turned out at the Frank E. Campbell funeral chapel on Wednesday morning (September 5) at New York City's Upper East Side to pay final respects to Violator Management founder Chris Lighty, who shot himself in a suicide last Thursday (August 30) in his Riverdale, NY apartment. He was 44.

Shortly following the death of Chicago rapper Lil JoJo, who was gunned down in Chi-town on Tuesday night (September 4), Chicago Police began looking into some of Chief Keef's tweets, which seemed to mock the teenager's death. “Its Sad Cuz Dat Ni—a Jojo Wanted To Be Just Like Us #LMAO,” Keef tweeted, before later stating that his Twitter account was hacked into.
