Sammy Sosa stirred up a lot of conversation on social media this past week when he was spotted appearing with a lighter skin complexion in a new photo. The baseball great has a lot of people talking about him allegedly bleaching his skin over the years, but T.I. has his own thoughts on why he's altered his skin.

The Atlanta rapper catches up with TMZ outside of an airport, where they ask him about the recent photos that came to light. Tip, who recently covered XXL's 20th anniversary issue, shakes his head at the outlet for bringing up his name, revealing his thoughts that Sosa has some "self-hate" issues when it comes to his identity as a black man.

Sosa has been battling rumors of skin-bleaching for the last decade, and previously confessed that he uses a bleaching cream before bed that "whitens my skin some."

Many were also speculating as to whether the former baseball player had been using steroids at the time that he began using the cream in 2009, but those reports were never confirmed.  He has never mentioned the name of the cream he's been using, but reports say that it came from somewhere in Europe.
