It's official: Migos have earned their first ever No. 1 album with Culture, reports Billboard.

The album sold more copies first week than any projections estimated, moving 131,000 total equivalent copies. Streams accounted for 87,000 of those sales (77,000 album equivalent units and 10,000 track equivalent album units), or 59% of the LP's first week total, while it sold 44,000 traditional album units.

As with Drake's Views, Culture was therefore largely driven by streams, with every song on the album getting posted to the group's official YouTube and SoundCloud accounts, garnering millions of plays within a week of its release. It's a huge success, not only for the group and their label, Quality Control, but streaming as a whole.
