Monica is set to release her eighth album Code Red on Dec. 18. As the release date approaches, the singer has unveiled the title track of the album featuring longtime collaborator Missy Elliott and Laiyah.

"Code Red" is an up-tempo track which sees Monica and Missy lamenting those artists who are out chasing hits. The two attack anyone who is simply trying to curry favor with their label bosses through the type of music they make. The song's message hits home with anyone frustrated by disposable music or one-hit wonders.

Monica has also unveiled the tracklist for the forthcoming Code Red, which you can check out below. The project will include guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Timbaland and Akon.
