"Tell my momma it's bad karma/I just killed a man..."

In just a few seconds seconds, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West took the anticipation for So Help Me God to a whole new level. Lamar's full verse that's supposed to be on the remix to "All Day" hits the web. A snippet sprung up on Kanye fan sites like Yeezy Talk. The sample was maddeningly short and the quality is poor but seeing the two names paired with each other was more than enough to generate a firestorm of tweets and excitement. Kendrick was given a writing credit on the original version of Kanye's track and in hindsight, that may have been a clue for the ensuing remix. Check out the verse above.

Kanye and Kendrick do have some history together. In 2013, Yeezy brought K. Dot along for his Yeezus Tour and the two have had mutual admiration for each other over the years. After Lamar dropped To Pimp a Butterfly, Kanye tweeted out how highly he thinks of the West Coast rapper:

The much clearer version features Kendrick as his usual self, manipulating the track with his flow while dropping enough over-the-head bars to make you rewind a few times to catch what he was saying. The full version was released soon after. Listen to that below.
