Joey Fatts drops a new track titled "Trade Places."

"This shit deeper than love/This shit bigger than life/So for Yams tonight/Drop a four in my Sprite," says Fatts in the opening lines of the song. "Trade Places" is a slow track that features the Long Beach MC rapping about lost ones, more specifically, the late A$AP Yams. Wishing he could take their place, Joey reflects on the good times as he raps over melodic keys and soft vocals in the track's background. Produced by Aktive, the track is short, coming in under two minutes, but the message and feelings are clear.

A$AP Yams passed away in January of this year. Following Yams' passing, Fatts dropped "Stevie World" in honor of his friend. Back in April, he released the official video to the track. In an interview with BluntIQ, Fatts explained why Yams was more than just his manager. “Yams brought me into this shit man, he took care of me,” he said.
