Future has secured another win and his name in the Billboard record books. The Atlanta rapper's new mixtape, BeastMode 2, has climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting streaming-exclusive album on the chart.

Dropping on July 6, and only made available for streaming, the new project with Zaytoven moved 57,000 equivalent album units, a modest number. But when it comes to on-demand audio streams, BM2 had 73.5 million. The record was previously held by Chance The Rapper whose Coloring Book debuted at No. 8 in June 2016. It pushed 38,000 units equal to 57.3 million streams.

Future now has had nine projects debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 including Pluto (2012), Honest (2014), DS2 (2015), What a Time to Be Alive (2015), Evol (2016), Future (2017), HNDRXX (2017), Super Slimey (2017) and BeastMode 2 (2018).

Hendrix totally surprised fans with the release of the project which had been long-awaited, drawing a mix of reactions. Word on road is that Future delayed the release of his tape to give his homie Drake's Scorpion album some time to breath. In the wake of the album dropping, Future hopped on Twitter and demanded credit for influencing the newer generation of rappers.

Future will have plenty of time to promote the project as he and Nicki Minaj are embarking on a co-headlining tour this fall. Scheduled to kick off on Sept. 21 in Baltimore, the 27-date North American leg of the trek will take Barbie and Super to major cities like Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Newark, Miami, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas and more.
