Cardi B is standing by her man. Offset has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons, after facing backlash for spitting what people are saying is a homophobic line on a recent track. Bardi is here to tell you her boo is not homophobic.

As previously reported, the Migos member appears on YFN Lucci's new track, "Boss Life," where he spits the line: "Pinky ring crystal clear, 40k spent on a private Lear/60k solitaire/I cannot vibe with queers." The backlash was swift.

Offset later apologized. "I didn’t write the line about gay people," he wrote on Instagram. "I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people. My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I’m not in a place where I’m hating like that."

Cardi recently checked a Twitter user who suggested she needed a better man, and last night (Jan. 20), she went live on Periscope and expressed her feelings on the matter, saying she doesn't think her fiance has an issue with gay people. “I’m not going to let somebody call him ‘homophobic’ when I know that he’s not, and I’m saying this because I seen him around these...around gays," she says. "He treats them with the same respect he treats everybody. He never acts uncomfortable and he just don’t care.”

She goes on to say she spoke with Offset after the whole thing blew up and he denied knowing queer was an offensive term.

Offset and Cardi have been dealing with a lot of drama lately, but just so you know it's real, Offset recently got a tattoo of Cardi's name on his neck. Still, now would be a good time to take heed to this.
