Young Thug Previews New Music in Studio
We got three projects from Young Thug in 2018. From the looks of things, he's been putting in work to make 2019 another memorable year. On Friday night (Jan. 4), the Atlanta rapper blessed fans with a preview of what he's been cooking up, via his Instagram Story.
In the clip, Thug is in a dark studio taking a selfie video while the song plays over the speakers. The first preview is a litty concoction of trap sounds. "Tell these crazy niggas don't be acting cray, cray/I treat all theses bitches just like Ray-J," Thug raps.
The second preview sounds a bit more menacing but is even shorter in length. What's clear is YT is putting in work.
We've been getting a number of song teases of upcoming Thugger music recently including songs with Rich The Kid, Juice Wrld and EarthGang.
The music has surely been a welcome distraction from his legal issues, which stem from a September 2017 arrest where drugs were found in his vehicle during a traffic stop. He is currently out on bond, after spending about a week in jail for failing a court-mandated drug test in November. His conditional release requires he must submit to random drug testing at least twice a week. He also must participate in an outpatient program for addiction and drug abuse, and also check in with his parole officer when he has events or has to travel.
Thug's On the Rvn EP, released in September, was his last offering. It looks like more is in store. Barter 7, perhaps?
