Young Thug is a free man once again. After turning himself in on Sept. 11 in Georgia for felony drug charges, the Atlanta rapper was released from jail two days later on Thursday (Sept. 13) on bond. Thugger's girlfriend, Jerrika Karlae, also confirmed his release on Instagram, writing in a now-deleted post, "THE GOAT IS FREE."

A warrant for Thug's arrest was issued on Sept. 10 after it was revealed the Slime Language rapper was wanted on eight felony charges related to charges of possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and weed. Thugger was also charged with two counts of codeine possession and possession of amphetamine.

Before his arrest, Thug teased his upcoming album, On the Rvnand revealed it will feature guest appearances from 6lack, Jaden Smith, T-Shyne and Elton John. Originally set for a Sept. 11 release, the project has yet to drop, but mix engineer Alex Tumay hinted that sample clearances may be holding the project up.

"Turned in mixes before he turned himself in so I could make sure he was happy with it. Clearances take time," Tumay tweeted on Wednesday (Sept. 12).

In related Young Thug news, the rapper was scheduled to perform at J. Cole's Dreamville Festival on Saturday (Sept. 15) before the event was canceled due to Hurricane Florence. Thugger would have joined a stacked lineup that featured Big Sean, Nelly, Rich The Kid, Bas, J.I.D, SZA and more.
