YNW Melly may be behind bars, but he's still keeping things running on the outside. Just one day after teasing a new track with Lil Uzi Vert, the Florida rapper's team announced a new mixtape via his Instagram page.

In a video posted to his IG Story, Melly announced a party happening at Florida-based club Gilt on Wednesday (May 1) to celebrate both his birthday and the release of his new mixtape, Free M&M. In a jail phone call that plays over the video, Melly encourages fans to come out and support.

"I'm not gon' be there physically but I'm gon' be there officially," he says in the clip. "I need everybody to come show a nigga some love, man! Thank y'all to all my fans and supporters! I love y’all!"

Melly is currently facing the death penalty for the two counts of first-degree murder he is charged with. According to court documents XXL obtained on April 22, the State of Florida feels they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the rapper killed his friends, YNW Juvy (Chris Thomas, 20) and YNW Sakchaser (Anthony Williams, 21), for "financial gain.”

Melly, along with associate YNW Bortlen—who cops believe helped Melly cover up the murders—both maintain their innocence. The two men remain behind bars without bond.
