YNW Melly is currently behind bars facing double murder charges, but that's not stopping his team from teasing new music with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert.

Earlier this morning (April 30), Melly's team uploaded a clip from an unreleased collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert to the imprisoned rapper's official Instagram account. The Generation Now rapper contributes a fresh verse to the remix of Melly's "4 Real," which appears as track No. 8 on the rapper's I Am You project.

"I do not need her, could leave any minute/She try to diss me in every vicinity," Uzi raps over a Yung Lan & Turbo-produced beat. "I could see right through her/I got the vision, She see my bitch/She be still used to dissin' me, I could not stick to one lover, I'm not stingy, please/ I know that girl used to fuck on my enemy."

The post doesn't specify if or when the remix will see the light of day. Nonetheless, Melly has legal troubles bigger than his music to handle. The Gifford, Fla. rapper faces the death penalty if he's found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder. Melly was arrested back in February for the October 2018 murder of his friends and associates, YNW Juvy (Chris Thomas, 20) and YNW Sakchaser (Anthony Williams, 21).

Cops believe that the rapper shot and killed Juvy and Sakchaser in the backseat of a car, then drove around for an extended period of time with their bodies until he cooked up an alibi. They assert that Melly convinced his friend YNW Bortlen (born Cortlen Henry) to drive the bodies to the hospital and tell authorities that they were all the victims of a drive-by shooting.

As of this report, Lil Uzi Vert has not yet commented on the remix. At the moment, he's focused on finally releasing his Eternal Atake album.
