A$AP Rocky Gets A Supporting Role In New Indie Film ‘Dope’
Sundance 2015 kicks off tomorrow (Jan. 22) and has some impressive films on the schedule. One of them is the movie Dope, featuring Toni Revolori, Zoe Kravitz, A$AP Rocky and more. A teaser for the film was released today, and it is building up anticipation for the festival. Rocky landed a supporting role after after he helped his then-girlfriend Chanel Iman practice her part (awkward now?).
Directed by Ricky Famuyiwa, the movie shows a young buck and his crew just trying to make it in The Bottoms, one of Inglewood, California's toughest neighborhoods. It's a modern day coming of age story with '90s flair, and a must see at Sundance 2015. The festival will run through Feb. 1 in Park City, Utah.
