Joey Fatts Says There Are 30 Finished Tracks For A$AP Rocky’s New Album

XXL recently caught up with Long Beach rapper and producer Joey Fatts about a range of topics, from his relationship with Freddie Gibbs to his connections to the A$AP Mob. Fatts and A$AP Rocky have collaborated on a number of tracks in the past—Rocky's "Jodye" and Fatts' "Keep It G Part 2," among others—and we asked if there was any more work coming through the pipeline, particularly for Rocky's highly-anticipated upcoming second solo album, or his oft-rumored instrumental album he was planning to release. "I gave Rocky a lot of beats," Fatts said. "He's all over the place, got like 30 tracks done for his project."

Fatts, who also had been working with the Mob for their long-delayed, possibly-canceled L.O.R.D. group LP, elaborated on what may be on the way. "On [Rocky's] album coming up, I got one for sure for sure, I just don't know which one it is, to be honest," he said. "Yams (A$AP's business manager) called me one day all excited because a really big feature hopped on the beat, but I can't really speak any more on that. Every time I talk to Rocky, he says the track's almost done, so hopefully that's the one. It's really crazy, should be dope." As for that second Rocky album? "On his instrumental project, him and I did like six together, for sure," Fatts said.

So after a 2014 where we didn't see a whole lot of Pretty Flacko, it seems fans are in for a flurry of new music from the Harlem MC in the coming months.
