It's only been eight months since Chicago rapper Valee signed a deal with Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music, but now he plans to add "experienced actor" to his growing résumé. After getting a taste of the Miami lifestyle with Pusha-T, the VTM rapper recently took his talents to Hollywood to make a cameo on ABC's new comedy series Splitting Up Together., which premieres tonight (Oct. 23) at 9:30 p.m. on the network.

In the brief scene, Valee stars as himself in the episode titled "Asking for a Friend." He sips champagne alongside actor Bobby Lee while actor Oliver Hudson seeks relationship advice. Last night (Oct. 22), Ellen DeGeneres, who serves as the show's executive producer, shared a clip featuring Valee's acting debut on her twitter account. Valee responded with his own tweet thanking DeGeneres. He also thanked Lee and Hudson in a separate post on Instagram. "catch my TV debut 2morrow. Thank U @TheEllenShow ❤️❤️❤️," Valee tweeted.

Before his national television debut, Valee had served up a handful of creative visuals over the summer that prepared him for his new acting role. After starring in a short film with Jeremih for their single "Womp Womp," Valee followed up an outrageous rager for "Juice and Gin," and then sparked up a blunt in the forest for his "Loading" video. Recently, he dropped a brand new banger with one of the youngest rappers in the game, Matt Ox, called "Awesome," which was produced by ChaseTheMoney.

Watch Valee make his debut acting role on season two of ABC's Splitting Up Together on Oct. 23. If you can't catch the show, then push play on the exclusive teaser starring Valee below.
