Tyga Compares Streaming Numbers to Clap Back at Soulja Boy’s Biggest Comeback of 2018 Claim
Tyga uses some receipts to refute Soulja Boy's claims that he had the biggest comeback of 2018.
Last night (Jan. 16), the "Taste" rapper fired back at Big Drako with a side-by-side comparison of Spotify's streaming numbers from both artists after the Chicago native defended his comeback year on The Breakfast Club earlier this week. In his tweet, Tyga proved that he garnered a massive 884 million streams versus Soulja, who racked up a still-impressive 98 million.
"Who had the biggest comeback?! 😭😭😭" Tyga said in a tweet with a screenshot of the numbers.
The infographic from the streaming service eventually caught Soulja's attention. The Young Drako rapper hit up his Twitter timeline to respond to Tyga's claims. After referencing Drake and Kanye West, the Soulja Game Console creator rehashed previous points he made during his explosive interview.
"I HAD THE BIGGEST COMEBACK OF 2018!" Soulja shouted in his tweet. "I RELEASED MY OWN VIDEO GAME CONSOLE IM THE FIRST RAPPER IN HISTORY TO DO SO!"
This whole exchange comes a week or so after Soulja Boy went in on his own fans for even suggesting that Tyga had a bigger comeback than he did. During an Instagram Live stream last Thursday night (Jan. 10), the Soulja got upset when fans in the comments began mentioning the "Dip" spitta.
“Niggas up in here talking about Tyga. Tyga? Tyga?! Huh?" Soulja yelled at the camera. "Tyga had the biggest... Man, get the fuck out of here!”
