Having already starred in T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, T.I. is getting back to reality television this summer with the premiere of his new series, The Grand Hustle.

Set to premiere on BET in July, the reality competition series will follow 16 business-minded men and woman as they fight for a coveted six-figure position within T.I.'s Grand Hustle business empire.

“The Grand Hustle Empire is always expanding so therefore we needed to add a very talented, highly skilled executive to our team,” the rapper said. “It doesn’t matter if you got your hustle at Harvard or the hood, The Grand Hustle is about how you handle business and what you can do for the brand so I wanted to create a show that offers an equal playing field.”

Made up of 12 one-hour episodes, The Grand Hustle will take place in Atlanta as participants prove they have what it takes to join Tip's team. “Tip is one of the smartest most impressive businessmen I have ever met,” said executive producer Brian Sher. “His business acumen is second to none, and his entrepreneurial spirit is unmatched. I’m excited for the world to get a window into how Tip thinks and operates.”

In related T.I. news, the Atlanta rapper is once again claiming to be the inventor of trap music and is taking shots at Gucci Mane after Guwop said he invented the genre. "Ok,so.... AGAIN for the slow ones in the back...August 19th,2003 Birth of Trap Muzik & Only fools dispute facts!!!" T.I. wrote on Instagram in the caption of a Wikipedia screenshot of his 2003 album Trap Muszik.

Along with Sher, T.I. will also serve as an executive producer on the competition series. The Grand Hustle premieres July 19th at 10 p.m. EST on BET.
