U.K. rapper Stormin has reportedly passed away following a lengthy battle with skin cancer. According to DJ Phantasy, the late grime pioneer passed away Monday morning (Feb. 19) after battling stage two skin cancer over the last two years.

Stormin previously revealed to fans that he was battling skin cancer in 2016, and has kept them updated on his condition since then. Unfortunately, he seems to have lost his battle after his health became increasingly worse over the past month.

Back in January, the rapper told fans that he went back to the hospital after he was unable to breathe or swallow properly, stating that he "thought he wouldn't be alive."

He even previously released music videos that captured his experiences of his cancer battle and time spent in the hospital.

Tributes for the London talent are now flooding in from grime rappers and rap pioneers, including Skepta, Giggs and even members of the N.A.S.T.Y. Crew, which Stormin was a member of. The group featured the late MC, as well as Kano, Jammer and D Double E.

Stormin and his crew have been credited as helping to pioneer the grime sound in the U.K. back in the early 2000s on the pirate radio station, Deja Vu. They rose to fame with their "Take You Out" and "Good U Know" records.
