Soulja Boy on Arrest: “Can I Have A Real Nigga Moment?” [Video]

After being arrested yesterday morning (October 18) on felony gun and drug charges, Soulja Boy has broke his silence.

"I'm innocent, man,” he said outside the court, according to CBS Atlanta. “I love you all. I just want you'll to know I'm innocent,"

As previously reported, after his rented Cadillac Escalade was pulled over because of broken a tail light, SB, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was taken into custody by officers from Georgia’s Temple Police Department in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. What the officers discovered in the rental were: five ounces of marijuana, a puppy, over $45,000 in cash and several firearms, according to authorities.

SB posted his bail of $10,000 and then thanked his fan’s via Twitter, typing, “[A]ye can I have a real nigga moment? my fans was DEEP AS FUCK OUTSIDE THAT JAIL MAN IM SORRY!!! thats love (sic)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

As of press time it is uncertain when Soulja Boy is expected back in court. —Christopher Minaya
