With NBA All-Star weekend going down in New York City this year, The Big Apple is prepping for some major pre and post game festivities. Snoop Dogg and Diddy will be joining forces for a huge concert at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 12. Presented by Hot 97 and dubbed The Tip-Off, the concert will feature the two musical legends as well as "friends," which basically means the two OGs will probably bring out half the rappers in the Empire State. The Bad Boy CEO recently took to his Instagram account and uploaded some footage of his rehearsal with The Doggfather. In the clip, the two performers jovially bounce around the soundstage while Puff spits a NY remix of Ludacris' "Welcome to Atlanta." The caption reads, "REHEARSALS WITH MY BROTHER @snoopdogg FEBRUARY 12th WE WILL BE LIVE AT THE THEATER AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. NEW YORK IM COMING HOME!!!!."

Remember, in the mid-90s at the height of the Bad Boy and Death Row beef, when something like this would have never happened? We're glad to see these two patriarchs put it down. “With such a momentous event coming to New York, Hot 97 definitely had to be a part of it” said Deon Levingston, Hot 97 General Manager about the concert. “Hot 97’s ‘The Tip-Off’ not only brings two of hip hop’s legends together on one stage, but also sets the electrifying tone for basketball’s biggest weekend." Ticket prices for the event start at $59, with VIP packages available for $500.
