Robb Banks Drops ‘C2: Death of My Teenage’ Mixtape

Robb Bank$ is back with his latest mixtape C2: Death of My Teenage. The Florida rapper shared his new 12-track tape via Soundcloud yesterday (Sept. 27), a follow-up to his January tape No Rooftops and official sequel to his debut mixtape Calendars.

Bank$ dropped his debut album Year of the Savage around this time last year after much delay. The Southern rhyme slinger is obviously making up for lost time and not forcing his fanbase wait as long for the next batch of music. The contents of the new tape include production from Wishbone, Nuez and Bomb Squad and lyrical delivery as menacing as ever from Bank$. He even links up with acts like Scooby Santana, Los Hosale and Xxxtentacion for a few bangers. Early standouts from the tape are arguably the aggressive "It Wasn't Me," which features a remix of Shaggy's classic, the bolstering "Stunt-Man" and the lusty "Nikki."

C2's overall bleak vibe is nothing new to Bank$ fans. The Southern Florida MC made a name for himself off of it. When Robb first sat down with XXL for The Break , he asserted that there's nothing fabricated about his raps.

"Rappers these days lie too much in their music. I feel that if music is really your craft and something you love, you should put yo heart in it and be real with what you say in every line, and thats what I think I do. I'm not finna say hip-hop is dead or some shit, the game has made a big improvement but it still lacks that one rapper thats hands down.. better than everyone. And I want that to be me."
