While fans have been waiting patiently for Rich The Kid's new project Rich Forever 3, the Creative Control MC recently announced he has other plans. Rich will be dropping another project titled The Rich Forever Way, next week.

He revealed the release on Twitter, typing plainly, "The rich forever way" dropping this Friday 3/17."

RTK has been in the studio with some big names, including Kendrick Lamar. Rich revealed the upcoming collaboration with the TDE rapper on social media back in January, posting “In the studio working with @kendricklamar.” The song is called “For the Birds.”

Time will tell whether the track ends up on The Rich Forever Way, Rich Forever 3 or K. Dot's new project.

The union might seem like a strange one, but both artists have been putting on for the new school in different ways. “Some artists that been in the game, they feel intimidated by younger artists coming in the game, taking shit over,” Rich told DJ Vlad in a recent interview. “Cause they looking at they numbers and [asking] why my shit skyrocket over theirs. They like, ‘Wassup? Where these young niggas coming from? They doing shows. They screaming for them now.’ They getting upset. It’s just getting ridiculous. I feel it. Niggas know what’s going on – it’s the rap game.”

The last tape Rich put out was October 2016's Keep Flexin' mixtape.

Next weekend is not necessarily the best time to be dropping music if your name isn't Drake. The 6 God recently announced he will be putting out his highly anticipated new project More Life on March 18.
