‘Rap Albums That Caused Slavery’ Hashtag Calls Out ‘Morning Joe’ Hosts

The hashtag #RapAlbumsThatCausedSlavery is currently trending on social media site Twitter in light of a blatantly racist comment made by a MSNBC Morning Joe news anchor.

When discussing rapper Waka Flocka Flame canceling a concert at the University of Oklahoma after video surfaced of fraternity SAE participating in a racist chant, co-host Mika Brzezinski tried to place the blame on the rapper himself, saying the Flockaveli 2 star should take some responsibility given that he says “nigger” quite often in his song lyrics.
