Quavo, 21 Savage and More Take the Field With NFL Stars for Huncho Day Flag Football Game
Quavo's 27th birthday may be on April 2, but the Migos rapper decided to celebrate a day early on April 1 by hosting Huncho Day on the Nawf at his former high school in Atlanta.
The celebrity flag football event saw Team Huncho, coached by 2 Chainz, take on Team Julio, coached by NFL superstar Julio Jones. Other rappers in attendance included, Offset, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Rich The Kid, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci, Trouble and more. As for the NFL stars, Quavo brought out Alvin Kamara, A.J. Green, Von Miller, Ezekiel Elliott and Josh Norman.
On Instagram, the "Walk It Talk It" rapper thanked all the stars who came out and called the day a success. "H U N C H O D A Y Successful!!! Super Fun!!! Thanks To Everybody Came Out I Really Appreciate!!!" he wrote. "Thanks To All The Participants Really Means A lot Can't Do Names Cuz I Dnt Want To Leave Off Anybody!!"
Based on videos from the event, Quavo went all out for Huncho Day, bringing out marching bands, mascots and games for the children. The rapper also had lockers set up for all of the athletes and rappers.
While Quavo may be one of hip-hop's must successful artists, the artist is no stranger to sports. The Migos member participated in the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game during the NBA All-Star Weekend in February and took home MVP honors.
Playing alongside former NBA stars such as Paul Pierce and Tracy McGrady, Quavo ended up with a game-high 19 points, shooting 7-10 from the field and adding five rebounds and three assists. It's uncertain what kind of numbers Quavo put up on Huncho Day.
