Post Malone first dropped "Congratulations" in November 2016 but nearly two years later, the Quavo-assisted single is still a popular track for the Syracuse, N.Y. rapper. Just a few months after earning its seventh platinum plaque, the Stoney track has now been certified eight times platinum.

The record achieved the feat on May 31, moving 8 million units. "Congratulations" is just Post Malone's latest multi-platinum selling single following "Go Flex," which also went three times platinum on May 31. The Beerbongs & Bentleys rapper's "Candy Paint" also recently earned a plaque, moving 1 million units.

Quality Control and Quavo both celebrated the feat on Instagram, with the record label posting a simple, "CONGRATULATIONS." As for the Migos member, he pointed out that the record is now only two million units away from diamond status. "ALMOST DIAMOND," Quavo wrote.

In related Post Malone news, to go along with his new platinum plaque, the rapper has some new ink on his face. On Thursday (June 7), photographer Adam Degross revealed Posty got "Always Tired" tattooed under his eyes. The ink, which was done by artist Chad Rowe, is just the latest piece of art on the rapper's face, following a sword tattoo and barbed wired on his forehead.
