On Friday (May 11), Playboi Carti surprised fans with the release of his debut album, Die Lit. Filled with 19 tracks and guest appearances from Skepta, Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott, Carti also teams up with Nicki Minaj on the song "Poke It Out."

Produced by frequent collaborator Pi'erre Bourne, Carti brags about his newfound fame and the women in his life. "Told the lil' bitch to come see me now (walk it out)/All of these bitches wanna see me now (walk it out)/Fucked that lil' bitch with the titties out (poke it out)/I know you see me on the T.V. now (poke it out)/Carti be lookin' like billionaire (woo)," he spits over a bouncy beat.

Later in the track, Nicki takes a shot at the fakes, rapping, "I see all these pretend Barbies/I'm beginning to end Barbies/I am Nicki the Ninja, Harajuku/'Member, I've been Barbie (been Barbie)/P-P-P-Playboy Barbie/Cover of Playboy, Barbie." The rapper also makes a reference to Carti's "Magnolia," spitting, "In New York I really rock (rocks)/Ask Playboi Carti (Carti)."

While the release of Playboi Carti's Die Lit on Friday came as a surprise, there were signs that the project was close to dropping. In March, Bourne teased on Twitter that the record was done. "Somebody from the label wants me to tweet Carti's albums done," he tweeted.

No more details about the album were revealed but Carti did drop a collab with Travis Scott called "Love Hurts." Die Lit also includes guest appearances from Bryson Tiller, Chief Keef, Gunna, Young Thug and more.
