Noochie Attacks Racial Stereotypes in “Jerome” Video

Noochie attacks injustices of today in his video for "Jerome." The 21-year-old artist from the DMV is pretty candid in the thought provoking short story for his visual. “If the police kill Jerome then everybody on their phone/But if Jerome kill Jerome then the world would never known” he raps on the song. Noochie leaves no stone unturned.

“I felt as a young African-American male, I’m directly affected by recent events without any real repercussions as far as persecution," he said in an interview. "Because I have a voice in my community I have to use my platform to make a difference. I feel the same way millions of other people feel and all movements begin with an idea and a voice. We have to be heard first. It’s necessary.”
