Hearing for Nicki Minaj Road Manager’s Murder Has Been Delayed
It's killing me to talk abt you in the past tense. I don't believe I've ever met someone as selfless as you. No one as humble and for the team as you. I hired you as my road manager simply because I knew you were more honest than me. There were stronger, more experienced, more polished candidates for the job but they weren't better than you. You made me see good in people. You gave everyone a chance, they should've gave you a chance. You didn't deserve this @daydaydoesdis . Love You #RIP
In Feb., De'Von "Day Day" Pickett, the road manager for acts like Nicki Minaj, Pusha T and Fabolous, was tragically murdered in Philadelphia. According to the police report, Pickett and 31-year-old man Pierce Boykin were arguing inside a West Oak Lane's Che Bar & Grill. The fight eventually spilled out into the street where Pickett was stabbed and killed. Boykin was arrested and charged with murder and on Wednesday (April 15), a judge continued the case's preliminary hearing until April 28 according to Billboard. The judge will then decide if there is enough evidence to send the case to trial. Boykin is currently being held in prison without bail.
