Nicki Minaj Flexes Her Martial Arts Skills in Extravagant “Chun-Li” Video
The moment has finally come for the Barbz as Nicki Minaj delivers the official version of her "Chun-Li" music video today (May 4). While she previously dropped a selfie "vertical" video for the record, along with a lengthy teaser, fans are finally seeing the "No Frauds" rapper in her full street fighter glory.
The Steven Klein-directed video starts off with Nicki narrating in the background before she fights off authorities who are trying to take her down. Dressing up in neon-themed Asian garments throughout the video, the Queens rapper shows off some of her martial arts as she is taken into custody. The lengthy five-minute visuals also features professional street fighters, dancers, as well as closeup shots of Nicki's famous curves.
In the two-minute teaser that she previously released, Nicki was seen going back and forth with dancer and choreographer, Aliya Janell, as street fighters. Throwing out kicks and sexy fighting moves, the two dress in some tight black ensembles that show off their curves.
Along with her "Chun-Li" music video, Nicki also released the video for her "Barbie Tingz" single today, which features her transforming into a human puppet.
