The 2009 VMAs are far off in the rear view, and that's good news. Though Taylor Swift and Kanye West have yet to hit the studio together, the 25-year-old singer told ET that the two are still kicking around the idea of a collaboration. “He's one of those people that's just like: Idea, idea, idea,” Swift said. She went on to call West “very creative," adding, "I think we've talked about [working on a song together], but we've also talked about so many other things." Finally, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" superstar reiterated: "I completely respect him as a producer. So, that's all I know now.”

It may be difficult to find time in Kanye's cramped schedule; the Chicagoan is prepping the release of his seventh solo album, So Help Me God. While Swift is unlikely to make the cut, it is presumed to feature contributions from longtime collaborator Theophilus London, St. Paul upstart Allan Kingdom and former Beatle Paul McCartney, among others. (The aforementioned appear together on "All Day," one of the singles that precedes the album.) Swift's most recent LP, last year's 1989, moved nearly 1.3 million copies in its first week, making for the biggest debut since 2002.
