Michael Christmas and producer Prefuse 73 have joined forces as the duo Fudge. The newly formed tandem is set to release their debut album Lady Parts on Sept. 9. The album was recorded over the summer and fall of 2015 at Nick Hook's Green Point studio. Ahead of its release, Christmas and Prefuse offer up another preview of the LP with the single "These Saturdays" featuring Pervana.

The song is a lighthearted effort with Michael Christmas dropping some funny lines along the way. "She be complaining that I ain't do dishes/But cereal waiting and I gotta get it/Crisscross how I'm sitting/This Xbox ain't stopping," he raps about midway into the record. The rhymes pair up well with Prefuse 73's production which sounds like it would fit right at home in an 8-bit video game.

Michael Christmas' collaborative project with Prefuse 73 will serve as a follow-up to the Massachusetts native's Baggy Eyes EP. That project saw him working with producers like Cardo and Soulection's Lakim. It will be interesting to see how the Boston rapper meshes with a single creative mind even if it is a one as diverse as Prefuse 73.

Fudge's Lady Parts will be released through Lex Records. You can pre-order the album now on iTunes to get an instant download of its lead single "In My Shoes." And if you would rather have a physical copy, CDs and vinyl are available from the Lex Records online store as well as the Rough Trade store.
