Megan Thee Stallion’s New Song “Hot Girl Summer” Will Feature Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign: Report
Hotties everywhere are preparing for the special guests on Megan Thee Stallion's new song.
On Sunday (Aug. 4), a Twitter user used the music identification app Shazam to identify a clip of Megan Thee Stallion's upcoming single "Hot Girl Summer." After posting the screenshot of the song's information, another Twitter user opened the app and used a clip of the 2019 XXL Freshman previewing the song to identify the track in real-time. Not only did Shazam identify the still unreleased song it also listed Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign as collaborators for the track.
The news comes just a week after Megan and Nicki joined forces on Instagram Live. While Nicki was searching for the winner of her Megatron Challenge, Meg was in her comments and requested to join her Live session. After a few attempts, Megan finally joined in Nicki's Live and professed her love and respect for the Young Money rapper. She even called her the G.O.A.T.
"Stop playing with Nicki Minaj like she ain't the muthafuckin' G.O.A.T., like she ain't that bitch," Megan said during their joint Live session.
"Thank you, Megan," Nicki excitedly responded. "I already know the vibes on another level."
It looks like the vibes were just right. While Nicki's presence is a surprise to most fans, Meg's Hotties already knew that Ty Dolla $ign would be on the track. In her announcement post on Instagram, Meg can be seen twerking to the song's catchy chorus sung by Ty Dolla $ign. Juicy J, who produced the song with Crazy Mike and Bone Collector, reposted the video and confirmed that Ty is on the hook.
Megan had originally planned to drop the song on Aug. 2, but she informed her followers on Twitter that the song will actually drop on Aug. 9. Check out her tweet and a clip of the song below.
