Macklemore and Offset Turn Up for “Willy Wonka” Performance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
Fresh off of dropping his new solo album Gemini, Macklemore stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform the song "Willy Wonka" with some help from Offset. Sporting colorful outfits, the two rappers had great chemistry as they turned up on stage, hyping each other up.
Macklemore kicked off his performance with his hard-hitting first verse that features references to Boosie Badazz, Rick Ross and "Thrift Shop." Macklemore rapped, "Let the truth be told, I'm in a Coogie robe/With the Dookie rope, and Lil Boosie on (Boosie)/I'm eating sushi rolls, doin' the tootsie roll (hey)/Thinkin' 'bout future goals, hater what you been on? (yeah)/I'm in a neutral zone, I'm 'bout to lose control/Then I'm hoppin' out, you think it's Rick Ross/I'm pullin' out in that Maybach/Didn't cop that from the thrift shop (hey)."
The performance is Macklemore's second television performance in the past few days after he stopped by "Ellen" with Kesha to perform "Good Old Days."
On Sept. 22, Macklemore dropped Gemini, his first solo album since 2005's The Language of My World, and his first project since he and producer Ryan Lewis took a break. The album features guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Skylar Grey, Eric Nally, Reignwolf and more.
