Memorial Day has come and gone, and we can finally drop the pretense. It's summer time in Southern California, and Ty Dolla $ign is here to ferry us all into the dog days. Over the weekend, a Kendrick Lamar-featuring song called "L.A." hit the Internet. (At press time, a spike in LA County air conditioner purchases couldn't be directly linked to the song.) The breezy cut hears Lamar at his teeth-gritting best, dragging Tupac's spirit in and out of cookouts and after-parties. "L.A." was reportedly liberated without Ty's consent; the record is intended to appear in a different form on his forthcoming debut album, Free TC. Listen to the leaked version of "L.A." here, via Miss Info. According to DJ Busy, the final version sounds considerably different.
