Where much of Boosie's post-Angola output--both the singles from this album and the mixtape he put out last year, Life After Deathrow--has been about his remarkable life story, "Black Heaven" turns the lens outward. With both Coles in tow, the Baton Rouge legend wonders about the respective afterlives of figures from 2Pac to Marvin Gaye to Rodney King.
