Lil Wayne has made it clear that when he makes his departure from Cash Money Records, Nicki Minaj and Drake will be coming along with him.

TMZ is reporting that the New Orleans rapper, who is currently suing Birdman for $8 million for an advance he never received on his last album, is fed up with Cash Money. Weezy wants to be sure he gets what's his on the way out.

Wayne believes that Nicki and Drake should definitely leave with him since their contracts are with Young Money Entertainment. However, what makes this whole thing more complicated is that Cash Money has a distribution deal with all of Young Money's artists, including these Nicki and Drizzy. It's likely that this matter will also be settled in court, and that's just fine with Mr. "The Best Rapper Alive."

Lil Wayne's beef with Cash Money, particularly Birdman stems from the hold that was placed on the release of Wayne's 11th album, Tha Carter V. In Sorry 4 the Wait 2Weezy's latest mixtape which dropped last week, the Young Money founder airs out all the beef within the YMCMB crew, exposing the labels heated internal conflicts. He fired off lines like “Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army, and if them niggas comin’ for me, I’m going out like Tony.” Wayne also made sure he apologized to his fans for the wait on the tape numerous amount of times.

Birdman definitely wasn't too happy about that. Wonder what Nicki and Drake have to say about all of this? XXL has reached out to Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj's reps but have yet to receive a comment.
