Leikeli47 Shows Why She Plays “2nd Fiddle” to No One on New Song
One of the most exciting new artists right now is Leikeli47. The New York native has progressed very well since her hit single “F**k the Summer Up” caught Jay-Z's eye.
She's back with her newest single "2nd Fiddle," which is appropriately titled as it finds Leikeli47 showcasing her versatility as a rapper and a singer. There's no humility for this track, Leikeli isn't here to be second to no one.
"Don't take the wrong way/I'm just want to be great/I'm running in my own race/I'm just trying to keep pace/My real friends is still my friends/Fake ones they came and went/Ricky Bobby daddy told me long time ago if you ain't first then you're last and y'all can kiss my ass," she sings.
Leikeli47 is gearing up to drop her debut album Wash & Set. In addition to the new track, she shares the cover art and tracklist for her LP, which you can see above and below. Wash & Set will release on Sept. 8 via Hardcover/RCA Records. "2nd Fiddle" follows previously released singles "O.M.C." and "Miss Me." Recently, Leikeli47's track "Attitude" was featured on HBO's hit series Insecure.
