Kendrick Lamar and Rich The Kid were in attendance for the 2018 BRIT Awards on Wednesday (Feb. 21) and graced the stage to perform a few songs.

The Damn. rapper kicked off his performance with "Feel.," before Rich The Kid appeared in a box, bashing an orange Lamborghini with a baseball bat. As Rich beat up the car, K. Dot performed their collaboration, "New Freezer," and had a message for the crowd. "Rich The Kid's album on the way/3-30, save the date," he rapped.

Keeping with the theme from his explosive 2018 Grammy Awards medley, the screens at the 2018 BRIT Awards stated his performance was another satire.

While Kendrick's performance at the BRIT Awards appeared to be a memorable one, viewers at home weren't too thrilled about it. According to people on Twitter, much of the rapper's show was muted on television. "Why get Kendrick Lamar to perform on the #BRITs if you're just going to mute him all the way through?" asked one man.

"Kendrick Lamar singing on #BRITs tonight. Lyrics about being oppressed, and ITV mutes him because of his language. Ironic," another person tweeted.

It's not a hip-hop artist's first time being heavily muted at the BRIT Awards. During the 2015 awards, Kanye West's performance off "All Day" also received a ton of censoring, as huge chunks of the song had no sound.

While ITV hasn't commented on Kendrick's performance yet, it did stick by it's decision to mute much of Yeezy's 2015 show. "ITV took the decision to use an audio mute during the performance," a spokesperson said. "The BRITs is broadcast live on ITV from 8 p.m. to a wide audience."
