Kanye West Responds to the Creator of Fashion Week’s Comments
Kanye West kicked off this Friday with an extensive interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club to talk on everything from the Grammys to his upcoming projects. After the interview, Kanye took to Twitter to respond to Fern Mallis' comments from earlier this week that she is tired of Kanye. Mallis, the creator of New York's Fashion Week, told the New York Post, "I mean, I'm not a fan of his music, and the attitude and the agenda is not my style."
Yeezy took offense to the comments and explained that breaking into the fashion world has been a difficult endeavor and offered to grab a drink with Mallis the next time he is in New York.
(The tweets read from the bottom up):
Mallis responded back by thanking 'Ye for the explanation and agreeing to his lunch proposal
The month of February has belonged to Kanye. First, he made headlines at the Grammys for jumping on stage during Beck's acceptance speech. Then, Kanye shook up New York City with a fashion show, a star-studded outdoor concert and the release of his new adidas sneaker, the Yeezy 750 Boost. Following that, he brought out Vic Mensa at Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary show to perform a new cut from his upcoming album and earlier this week, he went out to dinner with Taylor Swift at a trendy Manhattan restaurant. Yeezy season is here.
