Juice Wrld Says More New Music With Future Is Coming
Last year, Juice Wrld and Future wowed rap fans with their collaborative project, Wrld on Drugs. Now the Chicago rapper hopes to repeat their musical experiment again in the near future (all puns intended).
In a Monday (April 8) interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club, Juice said that he and Hendrix have tracks they've yet to release. "We definitely got some more stuff stashed," he said. "We probably link some more and do some songs."
Linking up with Future was actually a lucid dream come true. In 2017, Juice posted on Twitter that he would love to work with the Atlanta rapper-producer and this was before his breakout song "Lucid Dreams" became a top-five hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. Future caught wind of his tweet and went in the studio with the 20-year-old rapper. In October 2018, Wrld on Drugs dropped much to their fans' enjoyment.
Elsewhere in The Breakfast Club interview, Juice Wrld once again touched on how he came up with his rap name. Apparently, it was inspired by his haircut that he wore in high school, which resembled Tupac Shakur's hairstyle (as the character Bishop) in the 1992 movie, Juice. "I had that 'Pac haircut," he said. "I was obsessed with that movie."
Juice Wrld also talked about his U.K. tour with Nicki Minaj, mental health and more.
