Juice Wrld's breakout hit has reached a new Billboard peak. On the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Oct. 6, the Chicago rapper's song "Lucid Dreams" rose to No. 2, behind only Maroon 5 and Cardi B's pop smash "Girls Like You."

The song, produced by Virginia's Nick Mira, debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 74 in May, broke into the Top 10 on the chart dated June 16, and has hovered around the Top 5 ever since. This week, the single performed better than several summer mainstays including Drake's "In My Feelings" (No. 4) and Cardi B's "I Like It" (No. 7).

Juice Wrld, who was recently out in Europe on tour, shared his excitement for the feat on Instagram. "God is amazing,, been going through some shit lately but I still kno I’m blessed999 I love y’all so much never forget.. 4evereve," he wrote as a caption on Instagram.

"Lucid Dreams" appears on Juice's debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, released in May. The project has seen its own fair share of chart success, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 after debuting on the albums chart at No. 8, where it currently sits.

The rapper, who signed to Interscope in March for a rumored $3 million, has performed the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

In August, Juice dropped his latest single "Evil Twins Freestyle" as a joint release with Ski Mask The Slump God. The duo last week teased another song titled "Hey Mister" and have claimed to be preparing a joint mixtape.
