Fans have had to wait a long time for Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne’s proposed I Can’t Feel My Face LP. More than six years to be exact.

“When Wayne reached out to me at the time, I just wasn’t in the position to really do things the right way,” Santana recently told MTV News at Meek Mill’s 25th Birthday bash in Philadelphia. “At the time my studio had just got shut down, I lost a lot of music, so I just have to recuperate.”

Juelz is referring to a January 2011 police raid on his studio.

However, more than a year has passed since the incident and Santana wants fans to know that he has talked to Wayne and the two are in position to finally push that joint LP through.

“I reached out to Weezy, we in a good space,” Elz also told MTV News.

That’s a change from just a couple of weeks back, when Weezy expressed a bit of disappointment that his and Juelz joint LP hasn’t quite come to fruition yet.

“I actually got at Elz when I got out and told him, ‘Man, I think it’s time we really capitalize on that,’” Wayne told MTV’s, Hip-Hop POV show. “However, the two were never able to get together on wax again. “He’s going through a legal problem. He can’t work how he wants to work because they shut down his studio. I sent him some music and he didn’t send them back in the time-fashion that I work.”

Juelz further commented that he’d like to drop two mixtapes and his solo album, Born to Lose, Built to Win by the end of the year.—Mark Lelinwalla
