Joey Badass Performs Unreleased Song Featuring Meechy Darko

During a recent performance, Joey Bada$$ previewed an unreleased track featuring Meechy Darko of the Flatbush Zombies.

The song is a departure from Joey's usual style, featuring a catchy hook: "I see stars when I look up/Niggas talk that shit until I pull up/Until I pull up, pull up, pull up, pull up."

While it's uncertain when the track will be released, whenever the Brooklyn MC decides to drop it, it's sure to be a banger.

Earlier this month, the All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ rapper shared news that he would be releasing new music soon. On Sept. 7, Joey posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that read, "New tunes dropping next week! #LuckyMan." Whether "#LuckyMan" refers to a new song title or the name of a project has yet to be seen.

Joey also recently made headlines when he had fans believing he damaged his eyes after viewing the Aug. 21 solar eclipse. After tweeting, "Am I crazy for watching the eclipse today w no glasses?" the rapper followed it up a few days later with a picture of him wearing sunglasses due to doctor's orders.

The artist eventually released another video, revealing everything was a joke. Sporting the same pair of glasses, he said, "I am now legally blind... to the bullshit," before pulling the glasses off and revealing another pair of shades.
