Joey Badass Has New Music on the Way

Joey Bada$$ has made a lot of announcements these past few weeks, but his most recent one may just be the best yet. A few hours ago, the Badmon revealed he'll be dropping new tunes next week.

The rapper shared the news in a caption posted on an Instagram photo of himself smoking a blunt. "New tunes dropping next week! #LuckyMan" he wrote.

Whether #LuckyMan refers to one track or a much-desired project, most fans will be satisfied with either since the "500 Benz" spitter has continuously released bangers for most of 2017. Just a few weeks ago, he dropped the nostalgic video for "Temptation," his latest single off this year's All-Amerikkkan Bada$$. 

Music aside, Joey has remained in the news for recent weeks after the rare solar eclipse occurred on Aug. 21. After feeling compelled to view it without the proper eyewear, Bada$$ went on Twitter and wrote, “Am I crazy for watching the eclipse today w no glasses? I’ve sungazed before and afterwards saw colors for a whole day. I didn’t die tho.”

A few days later, he canceled three shows on Logic's Everybody Tour, with many speculating his vision was in danger. This all led to a hilarious clip in which he denied such rumors, though he was prescribed special glasses to be worn while out in the sun from here on out. "Doc said I gotta keep these on in the daytime now.... a lil annoying but they're pretty fire" Joey wrote to his fans.
