J.R. Donato Can’t “Trust No More” in New Video

Fresh off of dropping the mixtape Why So Serious?, J.R. Donato is back with a new video for “Trust No More,” which is off the project. The Taylor Gang‘s rising star is seen in the video having doubts about the people he has around him while he continues to become a bigger artist.

“This song is about temporary people and temporary relationships," he said in an interview. "I had a situation with some family shit, and there were those who supported me, and those who didn’t. I strayed away from the trap sound on ‘Trust No More’ and just made music about my life experiences ’cause I have a lot on my mind sometimes. I thought about all types of stuff I was going through, made a hook, and laid it down.”

“Trust No More” was a standout track off the Why So Serious? project, showing off the young MC's outside outside of the party life. Peep the video above.
