During his set at Houston's Day and Night Festival, Kendrick Lamar invited a fan on stage to perform a "m.A.A.d City" and instead of buckling under pressure when he forgot the lyrics to the track, the fan instead freestyled his way through the performance.

The fan, who goes by Corporate Dough, hit the stage with plenty of confidence and energy and certainly seized the moment with bars that had the crowd cheering him off instead of booing him off the stage. The aspiring rapper closed the performance by saying that he is living out his dream and that he can die happy.

According to TMZ, Corporate Dough did such a good job that after the show Jas Prince, who was in the crowd, sought him out and the two exchanged information.

This isn't the first time this year that an aspiring rapper has taken a shot at impressing one of the biggest rappers in the world with a freestyle. In February, a fan approached Kanye West as he was leaving a Big Sean show and spit a few bars for him. 'Ye let the young man do his thing and at the end took his contact information and hinted at the possibility of him becoming an assistant for the mogul.
